Old Photos

Happy Tuesday!

I said it yesterday and I'll say it again, but this past weekend flew by. We weren't even busy at all and I still don't know where the time went. And I didn't even have any naps lol.

I've been spending a lot of time organizing my photos. I had to back up all my blog photos. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to keep them all organized. It's so much work. I think I have a new system now, so hopefully that will make things easier going forward. Tj is really good, he always deletes the dud photos right away so he's only left with his favourites.

(Omg something funny just happened as I am writing this post. Tj and I have been trying to eat healthier but we were craving something sweet so we split a Snickers bar. I guess it wasn't enough because when I just looked over he was scarfing down vitamin c gummies like they were candy haha. We both burst out laughing when I caught him).

Anyways, in the spirit of going through my photos, I thought I'd share some oldies that I used for our wedding guestbook.

We tried to incorporate our love of travel into our wedding. For the table names, we used vintage postcards from some of our favourite cities in the world (copied the city name idea from my friend Mel). I had a world map on our wedding cake (although that cake is a whole other disaster story).

For our wedding guestbook, I copied my other friend Erin and did a photobook. I chose photos from all our different travels. I had a lot of my old pictures in storage, but I still managed to dig up some good ones. Some of these I have shared before in various posts, but the ones below should be new. The coolest thing about this idea was that our guests signed on pages with photos they related to, like our friend from Italy signed on an Italian picture page, or our friends from high school signed by our prom picture. That was really special to us, and so nice that people flipped through the book.

When we moved to Melbourne we left the guest book behind. My mom surprised it and mailed it to us in a Christmas package. We had so much fun going through all the comments together. The kids were especially hilarious.

Have a great day :)
