Books on my 'To Read' List (Round 2)

Happy Friday!

I hope you are having a great week so far. I am so looking forward to the weekend! I am really looking forward to waking on Saturday morning and having a tea and reading on our balcony for the first time. I think we are going to look for more outdoor furniture this weekend so hopefully we will get lucky again. I still can’t believe what a great deal we found last weekend for our outdoor couch.

I was trying to think of what to write for today's book blog post, and I was updating my books to read list and thinking I should probably leave this for now and work on the book post, but instead I thought I'd update you on my 'To Read' list. Win-win!

I first wrote about my Books to Read list last March.

In January I didn't read a lot, but I really enjoyed all the books I read. So as I choose my next reads I'm going to prioritize quality over quantity, although I never have trouble finding good books I want to read. I just want to love them all!

Here is a snapshot of my current 'To Read' list. This includes books that are already out and books that haven't been released yet.

Books I already own:

  1. Educated by Tara Westover

  2. The Library Book by Susan Orlean

  3. I Know you Know by Gilly Macmillan

  4. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari

Requested from the library (waitlist):

  1. Marilla by Sarah McCoy (#1 on waitlist)

  2. The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See (#6 on waitlist)

  3. A Dog's Way Home by W. Bruce Cameron (#7 on waitlist)

  4. An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks (#32 on waitlist)

  5. I Owe You One by Sophie Kinsella (#14 on waitlist)

  6. Watching You by Lisa Jewell (#46 on waitlist)

  7. Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk by Ben Fountain (short wait)

Other books I want to read (books with a long waitlist or not available from the library):

  1. The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

  2. The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory

  3. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

  4. The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson

Coming Soon:

  1. Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid (March 5)

  2. Cemetery Road by Greg Iles (March 19)

  3. Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith (March 5)

  4. Run Away by Harlan Coben (March 19)

I hope this list will give you some ideas if you’re looking for your next great read. Have a great weekend :)

Happy Reading!
