Happy Wednesday!

Today's post is about one of my favourite hang out places in Ottawa - Chapters! One of the things I was really looking forward to on my Canada trip was browsing around at Chapters.

I swear I feel so at home when I go to Chapters. Like it really hits me that I am back in Ottawa when I am there. It's totally one of my happy places. I have spent countless hours here over the years, catching up with friends, studying, wedding planning, and of course, reading! I love looking around, grabbing some magazines or books to look through while having a chai latte at Starbucks. There are so many pretty things to look at in the home section. And I love discovering new books I want to read.

When I went to Canada last month, I was really excited to go to Chapters. I wish I had been able to go with a girlfriend and hang out all afternoon, but instead, I dragged Jacob along and made him hang out with me :) I'm not going to lie, I felt super silly taking pictures at Chapters haha. I could have spent way more time there. And if there was room in my luggage I definitely would have picked up one of those cute (but heavy) candles or gorgeous Canadian puzzles in my pictures below.

This week is crazy already and it's only Tuesday night as I'm writing this. It's making me wish I was back in Ottawa now, grabbing a hot drink with family or friends and hovering until we find a table to sit at. I'll settle for curling up on the couch with a blanket and a book (it's surprisingly a really cold, rainy, Fall evening in Melbourne).
