Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. It was our first weekend in lockdown 2.0. We watched a lot of movies and had a lot of naps haha. I'm not complaining… it was very relaxing and much needed. I got a lot of personal admin done so I'm feeling organized and well-rested for a busy week ahead.
This weekend was also Lisa's birthday. Lisa is Tj's youngest sister and she has made a few appearances on Megan Away before. She has also promised us a guest post soon so keep your eyes open for that.
Happy birthday week Lisa! I’ve known you since you were just a little girl and you would come over for Survivor night every week. I’ve loved seeing you grow up into a confident, accomplished young woman. I love that you love to travel and are very independent. You make friends everywhere you go and you’re always ready to play games and eat snacks. Sometimes it’s crazy to me how similar you are to your brother. You are both foodies, you both love to travel, and you’re the only people I know who can recognize random movie scores! My favourite “Lisa in Australia” story is the time you didn’t listen to us about wearing sunscreen and then during the car ride home you complained about your skin tingling LOL. I’m glad I could introduce you to the powers of Aloe gel, but I am sorry you had a scallop bikini tan (burn) line for your trip to Croatia haha. We miss you! Hopefully you can come back and visit soon :)
Happy Birthday from your brother Lisa. Hope you are enjoying your last month in London whilst celebrating your birthday. I hope London has given you the experience you were looking for and that it sets you nicely for your next adventure. Am looking forward to seeing what you will accomplish in your next stage in Canada and perhaps Australia in the future.
