Books I Read in May 2021
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far :)
My week has been super busy… it was my last week of work before maternity leave starts and there was a lot to wrap up. I still have a little bit left to tie up, but I am really looking forward to sleeping in and squeezing in some naps next week. It's crazy how close we are to meeting baby Tj! I am feeling very excited to meet her and also nervous for everything to change. Luckily I have some really great books lined up to read until she gets here!
Here are the books I read in May 2021:
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo (YA)
Smoke by Joe Ide (IQ series #5)
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid
Winterborne Home for Mayhem and Mystery by Ally Carter (middle grade)
Find You First by Linwood Barclay
The Birth House by Ami McKay (re-read)
The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren
The Idea of You by Robinne Lee
The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon
The Butcher by Jennifer Hillier
Top recommendations: Find You First and Smoke
Least favourite: The Birth House (still rated it 3.5/5 but it wasn't what I was expecting… I remembered it differently).
Have a great weekend.
