Christmas Crafts

Christmas Crafts

Happy Wednesday!

Today it is my work Christmas party and it's 25 degrees out! Christmas in the summer is so weird.

Last Christmas Tj and I were still in the temporary accommodations while we looked for somewhere to live. I found a tiny fake Christmas tree in the closet that I decorated and put our gifts under to make it feel a little like Christmas.

This year I didn't want to buy any decorations. We already have some in storage in Canada. I thought maybe I'd buy one piece if we found something that we love and will keep forever. But I haven't really seen anything.

So instead, I decided to get crafty. I turned to Pintrest for ideas and fell in love with this book Christmas tree. So simple. I already had everything I needed (books!) and it would be easy to clean up later.

And while I was looking for a star sticker in my cupboard, I found this random Christmas craft my mom sent back with Tj. I don't know how old it was because the glue was dried out, but it was super cute and easy to put together.

And voila! Just like that we have the perfect minimalistic Christmas decorations. I also did a Christmas tree napkin fold, but that was a Pintrest fail. I need to get the right colour napkins and then I’ll try again. I did one other craft but you'll have to check back another day to see those pictures.

Hope you're having a great week :)
