5 Books to Read Before Christmas

I hope you are having a great weekend so far.
There are less than two weeks until Australia summer starts and you wouldn’t be able to tell at all. The past week has been rainy and as cold as winter! Last weekend Tj tried to take Baby Tj for a walk and they got caught in a hail storm. They weren’t gone long but when they got back Tj was soaking wet and Baby Tj was upset. The weather was better this weekend so tried to make the most of it. On Saturday we went for brunch on a patio and when we walked home, Tj carried Baby Tj in her carrier facing forward for the first time and she loved it! This morning we went for a walk to the market. We are going to make homemade pizzas tonight!
My favourite time of year is coming up and I am in full holiday mode. We took some family Christmas photos last weekend and set up our ‘tree’. This year the holidays feel extra hopeful. Last year we had no idea what to expect with the pandemic and baby Tj on the way but this year it really seems possible that Australia will fully open its borders. I can’t wait.
In the meantime, I am getting into the holiday spirit by readying Christmas books and watching all the cheesy Christmas movies.
