Happy Birthday Baby Bro
Happy Birthday to my baby bro, Jacob!
I can't believe you are 20! You are easy-going and adventurous and we are all so proud of you! You speak two (almost three) languages fluently and you are killing it in school. You can deal with all kinds of crazy after growing up with me and mom, although you need to work on your patience. You can never find anything because you look with your boy eyes, but I can call you from anywhere in the world and ask you to find something in my old room/your new room and you'll find it no problem. You are my favourite person to cook for because you think everything is delicious, but I think that's just because you love all food. You were the best at keeping me away from junk food before the wedding and you literally knocked it out of my hand. You visited me on your own in Toronto when you were just ten years old, and you've visited me all over the world since then. I call you Stinky because you were the first (and only) stinky boy in a family of all girl cousins. You had one bad haircut when you were like four and then didn't cut your hair for another ten years. When you first start playing soccer you would sit down on the field to scratch the lines on your skin from your shin pads and socks. When you played football you always came home filthy because you put everything into it. You watch the same shows on repeat as me and I can make any How I Met Your Mother reference and you will always get it. You and Tj always gang up on me but I think it's cute that you guys get along so well, except for that time in Paris where you ran away from the restaurant. When Tj and I first started dating we took you to Boston pizza and you guys had an eating contest and then you threw up haha. You can be a little lazy but you always send me Snapchats of the dogs so it's ok. You gave a great speech at our wedding, and one day I'll give a speech at your wedding and tell everyone about the time you flushed the Goofies down the toilet and tried to blame Aunt Frances or when you did a tuck and roll from a moving car at the gas station. Love you lots... hurry up and come to Australia!
