Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend :)

Our weekend flew by. On Saturday morning I had a hair appointment that lasted four hours! It felt like I was there forever. Luckily, I love how it all turned out so it was worth it. I had a cuppa tea and brought my book so I got a lot of reading in. One of my favourite things about my new salon is the chair where they wash your hair is a massage chair! It lies all the way back and your legs go up so it is super comfy.

After my hair appointment, Tj met me and we went for brunch. We tried a new spot called Hobba. We really liked the décor style of the restaurant and the food was pretty good. My chai latte was amazing and was one of the best I've had so far (definitely in my top three). Tj had a chicken burger that he loved. I ordered eggs benedict but it came with ham which I got on the side, so it felt a little plain. The eggs could have been poached a little longer for my liking. But Tj's burger came with beer battered fries and they were the star of the meal. So yummy! Tj ate them and he doesn't even like French fries. We will definitely go back there because I really want to try the waffles!

While we were eating I noticed this huge poster on the wall behind Tj and I couldn't stop reading it. I thought I'd share it as a bit of inspiration on a Monday morning.

This is your life. Do what you love. And do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching tv. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop. They will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analysing. Life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things. And people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them. So go out and start creating. Life is short. Live your dream and share your passion.

Hopefully, that'll put a smile on your face as you start a new week :)

PS. Have you seen the video of 'Spiderman' climbing a building in Paris to rescue a small child? I am obsessed with this story and can't stop watching the video. Talk about being in the right place and the right time!
