Road Trip: Round Up
Happy Wednesday!
I hope you are having a good week so far. It's freezing here. I actually had to turn on the heat last night after work. We are still a little busy unpacking and organising our new place. My commute to work is almost the same, just a bit of a longer walk to the station but I have to remember to go the new way when I come home.
For the last few weeks I have mostly been writing about the road trip we took over Easter week. I already feel ready for my next vacation. The post-holiday buzz didn't last as long as it usually does, so I've been stuck re-living the memories of our road trip while dreaming of planning the next one.
My lack of creativity can partially be blamed on preparing for our move, but since there are so many road trip posts, I thought I'd round up them all up here:
Next time, Tj and I agreed that we would go somewhere closer so we could have less time driving and more time to explore places. For example near Port Macquarie there is a koala hospital that I would have loved to check out. And Tj definitely could have used another day in Byron Bay, not to mention all the other towns we wanted to stop at but didn't have enough time.
So many places to see, never enough time. I'm crossing my fingers I win the lottery tonight lol.
