Weekend Update

Happy Monday!

We just had the loveliest weekend in Melbourne. The weather was fantastic! It's crazy what a difference a little sunshine and warm weather can make.

All I wanted to do was be outside. On Saturday I woke Tj up early. We went to a café and then downtown to do some shopping and have lunch. It was a pretty successful shopping trip (mostly for Tj) but by the end of it, I needed a nap LOL. Later we saw the new Ryan Gosling movie, First Man, about Neil Armstrong. It was really good (and so was the movie theatre popcorn!).

Sunday I got to hang out with my friend from Canada again (YAY). It was so nice catching up with an old friend. I took her to my favourite brunch spot and showed her around our neighbourhood. Then we walked to the botanical gardens for a bit. It was sad to say goodbye but I was very happy we got to hang out again before she left.

I bought all these groceries and had plans to make a nice dinner but it was still really nice out, so Tj and I went to a patio and had a drink and shared an appetizer instead.

There was so much more I had planned to do this weekend. But I'm going to keep today's weekend update short and sweet because Tj and I have some shows we want to catch up on before he leaves for a work trip later this week.
