5 Things I Am Loving Right Now
Happy Tuesday!
I hope you're having a good week so far. I'm still recovering from this head cold, but a lot of naps later, I think I'm on the mend. I made a homemade veggie soup tonight and it was delicious. I've been having a lot of tea and ginger ale. Note: restaurants never have ginger ale here! Or in Europe for that matter. The sell it in grocery stores as a mix for alcoholic drinks haha, it's not with other pop drinks.
Anyways, for today's post, I thought I'd share 5 things I am loving right now:
- Eucalyptus Kleenex - This scented Kleenex has saved my runny nose! It's so refreshing. It's the only type I've been buying since we moved to Australia and Tj and I are both obsessed. I will never buy plain tissue again.
- Redemption Point by Candice Fox - This book is the second in the Crimson Lake series. I finished Crimson Lake and immediately went out and bought this one. I love getting caught up in a new series, the only sucky thing is I'll have to wait for the next book. It has been a while since I have enjoyed a new book so much. Redemption Lake won't be available in Canada for like another year but Crimson Lake is available.
- Connoisseur Gourmet Ice Cream in Queensland Mango and Toasted Coconut and White Chocolate flavour - Get in my belly! These ice cream bars are soooooo good. I have been obsessed with Mango Coconut ice cream since Lisa was visiting and we found THE BEST gelato. But the coconut white chocolate coating takes these to a new level. They are pricey so I don't buy them very often but I picked these up last week because they were on sale!
- Safe - This is a new Netflix show by my favourite author. I wasn't sure at first. I found it distracting seeing Michael C. Hall in a role other than Dexter. Also, he has an accent? But Tj and I watched together and we are super into it now. We don't watch many shows together but this has been a nice treat!
- Fuzzy blankets - I have always been obsessed with cozy, fluffy blankets, but lately I have a new trick when I sleep. I put one blanket over the sheet and use one to cover me like a fuzzy blanket sandwich. It is the comfiest ever! I don't ever want to sleep on a plain sheet again haha. Sweet dreams!
