Books I Read in June
Happy Friday!
Almost weekend! Can't wait. This weekend I'm going to try to get Tj to pack for his upcoming trip so that if he needs anything we can pick it up and won't need to run around all week getting things.
One fun thing (for me) this weekend will be finding a book for Tj to take on his holiday. I'm going to pick a few options and he can read the summary and let me know which one piques his interest. I'll also try and get him an audiobook because he has a few long flights coming up. Of course, if I know Tj, he'll probably be too busy to even open a book, but I want him to have one at hand just in case :) I'll let you know next week what options I suggested and what he picked!
June was a bit of a slow reading month. I read two Jo Nesbo books which always take me a bit longer. Also, the last one I read was pretty scary! I don't usually get scared from reading scary books but I definitely don't want to read this series while Tj is away.

Least favourite: The Right Time
I don't usually explain my favourites or least favourites, but I wanted to explain this Danielle Steele book because it's not something I'd usually go for. But it sounded promising - a young girl loves thriller novels and she becomes a writer, writing under a male pseudonym, and moves to London. Sounds so promising! And the cover had a picture of Tower Bridge so I was sold. But it was such a dud! It was so bad and I kept thinking I'll read a bit more and see if it gets better. This is one that I regret not putting down. Lesson learned for the hundredth time - don't judge a book by a good cover.
