Gift Guide: Non-Fiction 2019
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
This has been a very busy week and I am really looking forward to some relaxing and reading time on the weekend. I need to do a bit of Christmas shopping and get ready for our next guest who is arriving late Saturday night. We can’t wait to show him around!
Today I am sharing my top picks for non-fiction books this year. I don’t have many tried and tested non-fiction picks. I mostly read fiction, and a few of the non-fiction books I did read, I didn’t really like. So I’ve kept them off my list and instead I only put the ones I actually enjoyed, and other books with buzz that are on my to-read list, or that I’ve been hearing a lot about.
Tried and Tested:
To Love and Let Go by Rachel Brathen
How Not to Die by Michael Greger
Books with Buzz:
Parking the Moose by Dave Hill
The Truth About Animals by Lucy Cooke
Fair Play by Eve Rodsky
Ballerina Project by Dane Shitagi
How to: absurd scientific advice for common real-world problems by Randall Munroe
Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell
The Body: A Guide for Occupants by Bill Bryson
Catch and Kill: lies, spies, and a conspiracy to protect predators by Ronan Farrow
Here are my fiction and non-fiction gift guides from last year, and my 2019 fiction guide.
