Happy Friday!

I hope you are having a great week so far. The weather here has been all kinds of crazy. Thursday morning was 40 degrees and by the time I finished work, it was down to 17 degrees. It was very windy, and there were severe warnings for bush fires and thunderstorm asthma.

I am really looking forward to the weekend and sleeping in. Tj and I are going to do a bit of Christmas shopping and maybe see a movie. We should also do some cleaning because we have a guest arriving next week! I can’t wait for our visitor to get here :)

I don’t have a lot of Christmas shopping to do this year, but I am trying to stay ahead of it so I can take advantage of upcoming sales. Today I am sharing some of my favourite books I read this year to help you find the perfect read for the booklover in your life.

Tried and Tested:

Transcription by Kate Atkinson

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

Run Away by Harlan Coben

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes

City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert

Elevator Pitch by Linwood Barclay

Books with Buzz:

The Huntress by Kate Quinn

The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes

A Kin by Emma Donoghue

(Dad, cover your eyes) Blood Ties by Barbara Fradkin

Here is my gift guide for fiction from last year (I’d still recommend all the books on this list too!)

Happy Reading :)
