Happy Friday!

I hope you are having a great week so far. I have been doing a lot of reading over the past few weeks. It seems like all the books I had on hold from the library for months all became available at the same time and I am rushing to read them all before I have to return them. Since I've been reading all the books on my 'To Read' list, I had to update it. Here is a snapshot of my current 'To Read' list. This includes books that are already out and books that haven't been released yet.

Books I already own:

  1. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari (as well as Homo Deus and 21 Lessons)

  2. The Huntress by Kate Quinn

  3. The Gown by Jennifer Robson

Requested from the library (waitlist):

  1. Triptych by Karin Slaughter (# 3 on waitlist)

  2. Evvie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes (# 5 on waitlist)

  3. Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton (# 8 on waitlist)

  4. Someone We Know by Shari Lapena (#12 on waitlist)

  5. A Stranger on the Beach by Michele Campbell (# 15 on waitlist)

  6. The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware (# 47 on waitlist)

  7. Akin by Emma Donoghue (# 73 on waitlist)

  8. The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda (#76 on waitlist)

Other books I want to read (books with a long waitlist or not available from the library):

  1. How the Dead Speak by Val McDermid (not out in Canada yet, but available in Australia)

  2. Knife by Jo Nesbo

  3. American Royals by Katharine McGee

Coming Soon:

  1. Elevator Pitch by Linwood Barclay (September 17)

  2. Postscript: The Sequel to PS, I Love you by Cecelia Ahern (September 24)

  3. The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (October 8)

  4. Christmas Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella (October 15)

I hope this list will give you some ideas if you’re looking for your next great read. If not, check out my previous lists here and here.

Have a great weekend :)

Happy Reading!
