Weekend Update

Happy Tuesday! 

I hope you had a great weekend.

Tj and I had such a great weekend in Melbourne.

Saturday was sunny but it wasn’t supposed to be super warm. It turned into such a nice day. We went to the gym and then went to brunch in a new neighbourhood. Actually brunch turned into lunch as well because Tj accidentally took me to a vegan restaurant so he shared some of my pancakes and then went for a massive burger afterwards haha. We walked around, hung out in a beautiful park and read for a bit, and then had a drink by the beach. Later we went to see a movie (Parasite - highly recommend) and I didn’t even fall asleep! It was such a great day.

On Sunday we went to the gym again and then hurried to the beach. We bought a beach tent for Christmas and we finally got to test it out. It was amazing! It provided a lot of shade so I could stay out of the sun. After the gym we stopped at the bakery and picked up sandwiches and a baguette. We packed a little picnic and ate it in our tent and it didn’t end up full of sand lol. We are big fans of the beach tent now. 

This was the summer weekend we’ve been waiting for! Let’s hope next weekend is just as nice.
