Books I Read in August 2020
Happy Friday!
It is officially Spring in Melbourne! The weather is looking promising this weekend. I am in a step challenge at work, so I downloaded a new audiobook and I’m all set to go for a long walk and get some steps in.
There should be an announcement this weekend about what it’s going to look like when we come out of stage 4 restrictions in a few weeks. It’s the craziest thing to see everyone wearing masks all the time but I don’t think they are going away anytime soon.
The highlight of the week was getting a package from my mom! It was so exciting to open… it was like Christmas came early! She sent us so many nice things. The snacks are long gone and Tj has been wearing his new Canadian face masks every day.
August was another great reading month. Here are the books I read in August 2020:
The Heir Affair by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan
The Dilemma by B.A. Paris
Happy and You Know It by Laura Hankin
One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London
The Ice Princess by Camilla Lackberg
This is the Story of a Happy Marriage by Ann Patchett
Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
The Guest List by Lucy Foley
A Madness of Sunshine by Nalini Singh
Top recommendations: One to Watch and The Guest List
Least favourite: The Dilemma - I actually liked the book, but I really didn’t like the ending.
Have a great weekend.
