Books I Read in April 2021
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
This week has flown by. I’ve been so busy with work and life admin haha. I can’t wait for the weekend, although that’s starting to fill up as well. I better block off some nap time now haha.
Last month, I committed to only reading books from my TBR pile in April, and I actually managed to stick to it! It was such a fun challenge and I am so happy I did it. I really enjoyed reading a French book, and I even managed to finish a non-fiction book.
Here are the books from my TBR pile that I read in April 2021:
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah (not from my TBR pile, but I started it at the end of March and finished in April)
We Are Water by Wally Lamb
Big Sky by Kate Atkinson (Jackson Brodie # 4)
Everything After by Jill Santopolo
Pour Toujours et à Jamais by Jenny Han (YA)
The Rose Code by Kate Quinn
Originals by Adam Grant (non-fiction)
The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarty
Top Recommendations: We Are Water and The Rose Code
Least favourite: probably Everything After, but I still rated it fairly high at 3.5/5
I still have a lot of books in my TBR pile, but it’s a lot less than before. Hopefully I get a lot of reading done this weekend.
