6 Months Married!

6 Months Married!

Happy Monday!

On Saturday it was 6 months since Tj and I got married. It still sounds sooooo weird! LOL. We've never really be ones to celebrate anniversaries, but I was trying to figure out how many months since we moved to Australia, and then realised it's been six months since we got married. I'm surprised at how little has changed. The weirdest thing was when I was filling out work forms and I had to choose Mrs instead of Miss. Mrs. Maloney is my grandmother!!! LOL.

Life with Tj can definitely test my patience, haha, but that's nothing new. I thought having the place to myself while he was traveling would be a nice break. But here's a funny story from last week that is very 'Typical Tj'.

I gave Tj a whole stack of stuff to mail while he was in Canada. The rest of our wedding thank you cards finally had to go out, and I had a bunch of birthday cards and other stuff. I also had a pair of pants and a box of cookies for my mom that I wanted him to mail to her because it would be a lot cheaper to send from Canada.

So Tj phoned me from the airport before flying to Europe and woke me up to call the phone company. He wanted to check whether he was covered to use his phone in Canada. A little late since he had already been using his phone for a few days, but I woke up and called. Then I called to tell him it was fine and confirm if he had mailed everything. That's when Tj said "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you… your mom's pants blew away."

I guess there was a storm that weekend in Toronto and the weather was pretty crappy. Tj had left a bunch of his stuff at a buddy's house, and when he went to pick it all up, he must have dropped something and somehow the brand new pair of pants I bought my mom blew away?!?! Sounds so stupid right??!!

I was so annoyed! I was angry, but also laughing because it just sounded so stupid. The pants were really light, so if they did fall out of a bag, they could have blown away. But still. How did he not notice?

Anyways when I woke up the next morning, Tj called me from Ireland. He said, "Don't be mad but I lost the ipad." LOL Tj!!!! He left it on the airplane which isn't that unusual. I put in the report and have been emailing the company that holds on to lost and found stuff. Cross your fingers it turns up because I'd really like to get it back! It's been almost a week though so I'm starting to get discouraged.

Now that we are married I'm like what have I gotten myself into haha. It's all fine. They were just things and can all be replaced :) But this is a sample of our married life LOL.

I put so much time and energy into planning the wedding, and there was so much other stuff going on with planning our move. Afterwards I was drained. I didn't want to make any decisions Ask Tj how difficult I was when he was trying to plan the honeymoon. I didn't care what we did as long as I didn't have to plan anything.

But now that a good chunk of time has passed, I'm starting to miss it a little bit. Not the planning, but just how special to have everyone there to celebrate with us. I might do a few more blog posts on wedding stuff, but for today, here are some more wedding pictures.

Have a great week :)
