Books I Read in November 2019
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
We have been having so much fun showing our recent guests around! We have really enjoyed showing them all Melbourne has to offer and the weather has been all over the place so I feel like they got the real Melbourne experience. We have had lots of adventures walking around, going to wineries, markets, gardens, and even a late-night casino run. We ate and drank our way around the city, trying new restaurants and cafes, and we even spent a night food-hopping around the neighbourhood. We had many barbeques and played lots of our favourite care game Dutch Blitz and I reluctantly have to admit that Tj won best of three and I didn’t win any games and he was very excited about that LOL.
This weekend I am looking forward to catching up on sleep! Tj and I have to get ready for our Christmas trip and start planning for our next visitors who are coming early next year!
I usually post the books I read at the beginning of a new month, but I thought in December it was more timely to share my book gift guides nice and early.
So here are the books I read in November 2019:
A stranger on the Beach by Michele Campbell
Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman
The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda
The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
Don't You Forget About Me by Mhairi Mcfarlane
To Love and Let Go by Rachel Brathen
Top recommendations this month: The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments
Least favourite: Rules of Magic
I’m not going to lie, December has been a very slow reading month so far. But I am hoping I can make a big push when I am on vacation at the end of the month and get some good reading in.
Have a great weekend.
