5 Reasons I'm Happy Lisa is Here
Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend.
It’s hard to believe it but it’s already Fall in Melbourne. The weather was in the high 30s all weekend but I definitely notice that it’s still dark in the morning when I wake up now.
I have been spending all weekend running around getting ready for my trip and packing. It's nice when I go home because I don't have to bring very much with me. The hardest part for me is always deciding on my travel outfit. It's even harder this time because I am going from summer to winter lol. And I haven't felt a real winter in a long time so I might be underestimating how cold it's going to be when I land.
Lisa arrived early Saturday morning and it has been great having her around! Here are my top 5 reasons why I am so happy Lisa came to Melbourne:
Dutch Blitz - Lisa loves playing games just like me! She got us hooked on this card came when she came for a visit last year. Even Tj has been playing with us which always makes it more fun.
She cooks for us - Little Lisa is all grown up and she is so helpful when she visits. Last time she totally helped me move apartments and tonight she is cooking dinner for us. I can't wait!
Girl time - I love having another girl around. I've spent most of the last year with only Tj, so it's nice to gossip about celebrities and talk about makeup. This afternoon we even went and got our nails done.
Packing buddy - Lisa went shopping and tried on all her new outfits for me. Now I'm packing to go home and trying on all my outfits for her. She has so much patience and is helping me pick my accessories haha.
Online shopping pro - Lisa has a not so secret talent at finding really good shopping deals. Last year when she came she ordered us a beach blanket online. This year we have a few random things that we are looking for and I know she will help us find what we want.
Bonus: another reason I'm happy Lisa is here is that her long hair gets everywhere. It makes me happy because it drives Tj nuts hahahahaha.
