Gift Guide: Fiction 2020
Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend.
I’ve been in a bit of a blogging rut lately, maybe because we haven’t been able to do anything for most of the year, and it feels like there’s nothing to write about. I haven’t been sticking to my schedule, but I’m excited about some upcoming posts I have planned, so hopefully, I’ll get back into it.
This weekend was a lot of fun. Tj and I went on a little picnic on Saturday and then we saw a movie, in the theatre, for possibly the first time this year. We saw the new Christopher Nolan movie, Tenet. It was really good, but then we had to look up all the parts we didn’t understand (I still don’t get some of it haha).
Last week I finished a really great book and it made me so happy. So today I am sharing my fiction gift guide for 2020, just in time for all the upcoming Black Friday sales.
Tried and tested (books I’ve read and recommend):
The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben
The Vanishing Half by Britt Bennett
The Switch by Beth’OLeary
The Night Swim by Megan Goldin
The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley
The House in the Cerulean Sea by Tj Klune
The Evening and The Morning by Ken Follett
Invisible Girl by Lisa Jewell
Books with buzz:
The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton
To Tell You the Truth by Gilly MacMillan
