Top 10 Books I Read in 2020
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far. We are officially back to work after the holidays and it is so weird. I could definitely use a few more weeks vacation haha.
This is one of my favourite book posts to do every year, although I really enjoyed answering the end of year book survey a few weeks ago.
Click here for my favourite books from 2017 and 2018 and 2019.
I completely crushed those this year, and read 115 books! That’s completely due to being in lockdown for most of the year.
You can see a full list of what I read each month here:
These are the books I read in December 2020:
Winter Solstice by Elin Hilderbrand
Skipping Christmas by John Grisham
When Will There be Good News by Kate Atkinson (Brodie Jackson #3)
Started Early, Took My Dog by Kate Atkinson (Brodie Jackson #4)
A Princess for Christmas by Jenny Holiday
The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
Goodnight Beautiful by Aimee Molloy
Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella
The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton
To Tell You the Truth by Gilly MacMillan
And finally, in no particular order, here are some of my favourites from 2020:
The Huntress by Kate Quinn
The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben
The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley
The Switch by Beth O’Leary
The Vanishing Half by Britt Bennett
One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London
Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
The Night Swim by Megan Goldin
The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
Invisible Girl by Lisa Jewell
The books that are my favourites are ones that I really connected with at the time I read them, and are ones I would read again someday. It doesn’t necessarily mean they were the best written, or most exciting, but they entertained me during a long year and stood out among all the books I’ve read this year.
