Gift Guide: Teen Books
Happy Friday!
I hope you're having a great week so far. I have been running around all week getting ready for our holiday and I am finally packed and my nails are done and I think I'm pretty much ready. I have to "edit" my packing and take some stuff out because I always try and bring too much. I’m really sad I won’t be seeing my family over the holidays this year but I’m glad I was able to get a few days off and have a break from work. I can’t wait to sit by the pool and read my book with a nice icy cocktail!
Tj and I have already exchanged presents, and everything thing else has been shipped back home. Unfortunately I did have some fraud on my credit card this year which makes me so mad, but also means that some of my orders got cancelled. So hopefully I will get my new card in time to take advantage of boxing day sales and maybe reorder those gifts that didn’t work out.
Today’s book guide is for the teen in your life. I’ve try to pull out books that are more appropriate for a younger audience and ones that Jacob and I have read. When he was younger I would always try to find books he might like and then I’d read them too. I hate the term boy books though, because I think girls would like them too, and there I have a real issue with marketing books for boys or girls but that’s a topic for another day.

I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter

I hope this helps you get your shopping done! When all else fails, the gas stations usually sell gift cards haha.
I won’t be posting next week as I’ll be on holiday, but I’ll be back with a new one on Monday December 31st! My last post of the year — wow. It’s crazy how fast time flies.
Wishing you a very merry Christmas!
Love Megan
