Books I Read in May 2020
Happy Friday!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
The weather was so bad on Monday - it was freezing cold and pouring rain all day. I have never been so happy to be working from home and not have to go out in those conditions.
Tj and I have had another busy week and I am looking forward to the long weekend. Monday is a holiday here and it feels so weird that we won’t be traveling. Some states have opened their borders, and we considered renting a car and taking day trips within the state of Victoria, but the weather isn’t looking the greatest so we will have a little staycation instead. It’s fine with me. I’d rather be reading on a beach somewhere, but I’ll settle for my couch with a hot chocolate and a cozy blanket.
Here are the books I read in May 2020:
Good Girls Lie by J.T. Ellison
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell
The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley
Little Universes by Heather Demetrios
Recipe for a Perfect Wife by Karma Brown
Gathering Dark by Candice Fox
The Honey Don’t List by Christina Lauren
All Adults Here by Emma Straub
Beach Read by Emily Henry
Top recommendations this month: The Authenticity Project and Gathering Dark
Least favourite: My Dark Vanessa
Have a great weekend.
